THis is a link to the leaked song of Lil Wayne's that is said to be a part of the Carter 5... I can not wait for Lil Wayne to come out with a new CD!! This song is not one of my favorites though. But hopefully there is going to be a Carter 5. Lil Wayne can not retire before the Carter 5 is released!!

Tour dates for 2012

Lil Wayne is going on tour with Eminem this 2012. However, every time I look up when and where his concerts will be this year it says that he is not touring in the US. This makes me so sad I cant believe he is not going to be touring in the US his last year Rapping. I hope that for some reason he is just making it a secret as to when and where he will be performing but i don't think that this is the case. I hope before he retires I can see him once again perform!

Love me or hate me, I promise it won’t make me or break me

One of Lil Waynes famous lines in a few of his songs is... "Love me or hate me, I promise it won't make me or break me" I think that this is a great inspirational quote. In schools these days there is a lot of bullying! By getting this message across that whether you like me or not I will survive shows kids that its okay for someone not to like them.. Don't let anyone bother you because who cares about them. This quote really inspires me when I know that someone does not like me! It also is just an amazing quote because Lil Wayne said it!!

The Gamer

Early in 2012 Lil Wayne was named one of the most influential gamers.. He was given an award from EA games for this accomplishment. I recently read an article about it and thought it was so interesting. I am not sure about what games lil wayne plays but whatever game it is he must be really good at it!

The sky is the limit

Lil Wayne's song The Sky Is the Limit, is one of my all time favorite songs. It is one of my favorite songs and just shows how talented he is.

He is so talented in all the songs he writes, but this has to be my favorite. This song is one of his older songs but that just goes to show how talented he was from the begining. I went and saw him in concert just last year and he sang this song. I am so glad he did because i love it. It is not just my fav though he sang it because everyone loves it. I cant wait for him to go on tour this year!!

The Carter V??

It is rumored that before Lil Wayne retires he will come out with The Carter V. It is said to be released Spring of 2012. Alot of people are doubting this man BUT I am not. I think he will for sure release a new album. He is beyond talented and lyrics just come to him so he should have no problem coming out with a new album this year!

I hope to see this in the near future!!!



Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj

Soooo some thing you may not know is that Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj kissed at the NBA all star game late this February. When I heard this news I was a bit jealous.. I mean I wish I had a chance to kiss him!! Nicki Minaj would not be famous without lil wayne.. he made her!! She owes him.. maybe she was trying to pay him back by this kiss... anyway wanna know the worst part.. Lil wayne has a girlfriend.. I bet she was MAD! I would be.. hmm maybe I would not be I dont know though..

Cash Money Records

Lil Wayne is one of the youngest members to ever join Cash Money Records. He is still apart of Cash Money Records today! He has even brought some of his friends into Cash Money Records such as Drake and Nicki Minaj.
The picture to the left is a picture of Lil Wayne in front of a cash money backdrop at a formal Hollywood event! He represents them so well!! He is even dressed to impress. In my opinion he looks "fly".  He is sporting a leather jacket dress pants and some SICK red shoes!! I wish I was his date to this event!!
He continues to promote Cash Money and continues to make them a success just like he is!

The Carter

Lil Wayne's first album that was released was called "The Carter". This is what helped pave his way to fame. The Carter was released in 2004. It was a sensation! Everyone loved it. One of the most popular songs he had was called "Go DJ". This song was a hit. It was in the ranked top 5 in the R&B/rap category!! That is sooo impressive coming from a new guy. His video for the song "Go DJ" is very entertaining and fun. It is one of my favorite videos of him...

Watching this video makes me laugh. It is right at the start of his career... sooo he doesn't have that many tattoos and his hair is sooo short! I think he is definitely more attractive today than when he was younger!

The Start of Lil Wayne

Dwayne Carter, better known as Lil Wayne, found himself rapping at an early age. He was born into an extremely poor family in New Orleans. Early in his childhood his family left his mother and him to live on their own. I bet know that he is famous, his dad regrets doing that. He began rapping at the age eight. This to me is pretty impressive because if you think back, at age eight we were learning in school how to write sentences. It turns out that he was good at writing songs because a couple years later he signed with Young Money Records. I believe he is the youngest member to have joined this group. It is so crazy how people can go from being so poor they have nothing to becoming famous. I love it! As much as I like and admire Lil Wayne.. I have to say he is not the brightest of them all. In his early years he decided it might be fun to play with a gun and accidentally shot himself. He had to be taken to the hospital. I am not sure why his parents did not teach him that he is not supposed to play with guns, I figured this was common sense. Even though he is so famous today, he never got the chance to finish high school. His career took off when he was still in high school and had to pick what he loved more. I proably would have picked fame and fortune too!
